This art workshop is a class focussing on creating a beautiful mixed collage with the vessel of the teapot or teacup as our theme. This is an intentional workshop where we will be asking ourselves questions such as, “If I were making a pot of tea for a friend, Mum, Grandmother, what would my teapot be filled with?” Children will be encouraged to think of that special someone and the quality of the emotion, feeling, energy that they would like to “pour” out for that special other e.g. love, joy, friendship, fun, laughter etc. We will write our wishes and intentions for the recipient onto our canvas and imbue the canvas with the energy of connection. We will also discuss the concept of “filling ones own cup first then giving from the overflow.”
The day will conclude with a tea party experience to celebrate each other, our creations and our connections.
Attendees must be age 7+. Teens, adults and family members are also welcome.
All materials will be provided. .
BYO lunch and water bottle.
